There are lots of wood pin colour combos to choose from! Pins are not fixed on the twine, they are movable and removable from the twine. 2 pieces of picture hanging hardware are provided per sign.

Dark stain - white wording
Medium stain - white wording
Grey stain - white wording
White stain - black wording

We have 4 stains to choose from, which will show the character of the wood. While shading may vary slightly from board to board the colors typically are similar to the photos provided but many not be an exact match. Please also keep in mind that screen settings on your phone or computer can have an impact the color you are seeing.
The white stain option is a water based product so it has a more full coverage look than an oil based stain but less so than a full coverage paint. Character and color variations in the wood will still show through the stain and these areas will appear darker. Please message us for photo examples prior to ordering, if you wish to see more examples.
If the option to 'paint' item is selected from the drop down, please note that paint emphasizes knots and surface textures. It does not hide or fill these areas.

- MADE TO ORDER PIECES -
If you have ordered a made-to-order piece, please be sure you provided us with your color choices. If you do not submit any color choices, we will send you an ETSY message, but if you fail to respond within 48 hours, we will make items based on default choices listed in the description or if the item is to be personalized, we may have to cancel the order.

- WOOD TEXTURE & CHARACTER -
The nature of wood lends a sense of uniqueness to the signs we create. We make small attempts to cover any extraordinary blemishes (cracks, knots, etc) that occur within the wood we use, but we also believe small blemishes add exceptional character to each piece. Due to the wood's natural unique characteristics, no two signs will be exactly alike.
Custom and personalized orders
- STAIN & PAINT VARIATIONS -
The wood stains we have pictured may appear different on your finished signs and growth charts. There are multiple reasons for this including “screen color” to “live color” but mostly because wood comes from different places and varies in the natural tone, therefore, it will take stain differently and vary from piece to piece. Any pictured sign that is stained acts only as a representation of a tone that will be similar to the color on your sign.

Beautiful! My boys love using it to hang their art. The board is a little warped but some form of imperfect was expects as that is what I purchased (per listing). As far as I’m concerned it gives it more character!

I love this artwork hanger. It looks great and the "defects" don't take away from it at all. I honestly would have been happy to pay full price.
