Care Instructions:
Your board will come with an initial treatment of food safe mineral oil to protect the wood and prevent drying and cracking. You will want to purchase food safe mineral oil (there are lots available on Amazon) and apply it to your board every 1-2 months, or sooner if used frequently. DO NOT put your board in the dishwasher or soak it in water. Handwash with hot soapy water, dry with a dish towel and store standing up.

- MADE TO ORDER PIECES -
If you have ordered a made-to-order piece, please be sure you provided us with your color choices. If you do not submit any color choices, we will send you an ETSY message, but if you fail to respond within 48 hours, we will make items based on default choices listed in the description or if the item is to be personalized, we may have to cancel the order.

- WOOD TEXTURE & CHARACTER -
The nature of wood lends a sense of uniqueness to the signs we create. We make small attempts to cover any extraordinary blemishes (cracks, knots, etc) that occur within the wood we use, but we also believe small blemishes add exceptional character to each piece. Due to the wood's natural unique characteristics, no two signs will be exactly alike.
Custom and personalized orders
- STAIN & PAINT VARIATIONS -
The wood stains we have pictured may appear different on your finished signs and growth charts. There are multiple reasons for this including “screen color” to “live color” but mostly because wood comes from different places and varies in the natural tone, therefore, it will take stain differently and vary from piece to piece. Any pictured sign that is stained acts only as a representation of a tone that will be similar to the color on your sign.
